How to Rotate PDF Pages Permanently (Without Adobe)
Got a scanned PDF that's upside down? Here is the easiest way to rotate individual pages or the entire document permanently.
Fixing Upside-Down Scans
We've all been there: you scan a document using a printer or a phone app, and the resulting PDF is completely upside down or sideways. While you can rotate the view in your PDF reader, that doesn't save the orientation permanently. The next person who opens it will still see it upside down.
Permanent Rotation Guide
- Step 1: Open the Tuko Rotate PDF tool.
- Step 2: Load your PDF. You'll see thumbnails for every page.
- Step 3: Hover over the page you want to fix and click the rotate icon to turn it 90 degrees clockwise or counter-clockwise.
- Step 4: If the entire document is wrong, use the "Rotate All" button at the top.
- Step 5: Save the file. The new orientation is now hardcoded into the PDF metadata.
