How to Merge, Reorder and Extract PDF Pages Online

A PDF task that sounds simple often turns into three separate jobs: merge the files, fix the page order, then extract the pages you actually need. Tuko.my combines those jobs into one continuous workspace. You upload once, edit one visual page sequence, and download once.

Why use one PDF organizer?

Separate tools create unnecessary hand-offs. You may download a merged file, upload it again to reorder pages, and upload it a third time to extract a section. A single organizer makes the intended result visible from the start. Each thumbnail represents one page in the final document, so the order you see is the order you export.

Step-by-step tutorial

1. Open Organize PDF

Go to the free Organize PDF tool. The workspace has three numbered areas: add files, arrange and choose pages, and export once. You do not need an account or an installation.

3. Enter the password for a protected PDF

If a PDF is protected, Tuko shows a password prompt instead of failing silently. Enter the document password and choose Unlock and add. If you do not know it, choose Skip file and continue with the other documents.

Important for protected files

Protected pages are converted into high-quality page images in the exported PDF. The visual result stays clear, but searchable text, clickable links, selectable text, and interactive form fields on those pages may not be retained.

4. Reorder pages visually

Drag a page card to a new position, or use its left and right arrow buttons for precise movement. The large number on each thumbnail shows its current output position. In the example below, the fictional timeline page was moved before the overview page, producing the order 2, 1, 3.

Fixing ERR_ACCESS_DENIED after download

A browser may show Access to the file was denied when it tries to reopen an expired temporary file:// or blob link from browser history. That message does not necessarily mean the PDF was deleted.

1. Return to the Tuko result panel.
2. Choose Download again for a fresh copy.
3. Or choose Open PDF in browser, then save it from the PDF viewer.
4. Open the newly downloaded file from your Downloads folder instead of the old error tab.

Privacy and security

Tuko.my performs the PDF work on your device. The browser reads the files, builds thumbnails, applies your page choices, and creates the output locally. This design avoids sending private contracts, statements, assignments, or identity documents to a document-processing server.

You should still use normal document hygiene: work on a trusted device, close shared-computer tabs when finished, verify the output before sending it, and never share a document password unless the recipient is authorized to receive it.
