Visa forms, travel agents, employers and hotels often ask for a passport copy as a PDF. You can make one with your phone camera: photograph the data page, add it to the tool above and download a clean A4 PDF.
Getting a clear photo of the data page
- Press the passport open so the page lies flat. A curved page blurs the text near the spine.
- Tilt the phone slightly if the laminate shows a bright glare spot over your details.
- Keep the two lines of letters and arrows at the bottom of the page fully in the photo. Systems often read those lines.
- Shoot in daylight or under even light, without flash.
Using the tool for a passport
The first slot is for the data page. The second slot is optional: use it for a visa or stamp page if one is asked for. Choose One side per A4 page if each page should be on its own sheet. For three or more pages, use Image to PDF instead.

Should I watermark a passport copy?
Adding a purpose such as FOR VISA APPLICATION ONLY can discourage reuse. Some official processes want an unmarked copy, so check first.
