Malaysia Salary Calculator 2026 FAQs

Common questions about using our Malaysia Salary Calculator 2026 tool.

Is this an official payslip calculator?

No. It is a planning calculator. Actual payroll can differ because official EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB use statutory schedules plus employee-specific payroll information.

What EPF rates are used?

For a Malaysian employee below 60, the calculator uses the current 11% employee rate and 13% employer rate at RM5,000 and below or 12% above RM5,000, using the current wage-range method up to RM20,000.

What SOCSO and EIS ceiling is used?

The standard SOCSO and EIS estimate uses the RM6,000 monthly wage ceiling. Optional LINDUNG 24 Jam contributions are not included.

Is the tax line my official PCB?

No. It spreads an annual YA 2026 tax estimate across 12 months. Use the PCB/MTD estimator for a closer planning estimate and verify actual payroll deductions with your employer or HASiL.
